The Corporate Security Team NL is responsible for a clear policy and strategy on all Security, Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Crisis management activities within the TenneT organization, creating a safer and better working environment. We are searching for a Junior advisor Security & Crisis Management. What is your role as Junior Security Officer? As a junior advisor within the Corporate Security Office (CSO) you are responsible to coordinate, co-develop and evaluate the security management policy & performance within the TenneT Netherlands. In this position you help develop guidelines and inform and advise the organization and employees on corporate (cyber, personnel and physical) security. You will work in a team with both young professionals and senior Security, BCM and crisis management advisors. The responsibilities mentioned underneath have to be performed in The Netherlands. Main responsibilities: • Develop (cyber and physical) security policies, guidelines and plans and monitor their compliance to relevant laws and standards. • Support TenneT Performance Units or projects as an internal consultant with the implementation of (cyber, personnel and physical) security measures. • Monitor (review) the implementation of (cyber, personnel and physical) security measures and awareness. • Support (all hazard) threat and risk assessments for TenneT's personnel, assets, processes, IT/OT systems and information. • Support the senior security advisors of the CSO in managing the Integrated Security Management System (ISMS). • Assist / perform (cyber, personnel and physical) security training and exercises. Profile What do we expect from you? • You have a sharp mind with good analytical skills and are able to translate a problem analysis into an action plan. • You have a Bachelor in; business administration, risk / safety / security or crisis management or other relevant field, a Master degree is a pre. • You have one or two years of relevant experience in a large/complex organisation. Security experience is not a must, but affinity with the subject is. • You are keen to learn everything there is to know about cyber and physical security, BCM and crisis management within critical infrastructure. • You are highly motivated to work on cyber, personnel and physical security, BCM and crisis management projects, issues and processes in order to ensure security of supply for society. • Good language skills in English and Dutch, both in speech and writing are required. Soft skills: • You have a positive ‘can do’ mindset and are able perform under pressure and be able to deal with pushback from stakeholders. • You are someone who takes the initiative, connects with people and is open for new and innovative solutions to complex problems. • You are good in planning your work and execute it in a structured and precise way. • You are able to communicate on all levels and are able to build bridges and convince people. The tasks described above are broad, because the young professionals are widely deployed and from there it is examined where their talents lie. We are looking for someone with strong organizational power, who can design and monitor the processes and write various documents such as work instructions. As the organisation is currently dealing with many changes, such as a reorganisation, we are looking for someone who is able to manage with possible pushback from stakeholders. Important: This role is fully on-site. Working from home is not an option. Practical information: • A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a UVO screening must be obtained before the candidate can start. • This is temporary role ti replace a sick employee, not suitable for freelancers (ZZP). • Interviews: 2 rounds of interviews, preferably both in person. • If there are enough suitable candidates this role can be closed on a earlier date or time.
